Project Description

MOROCCO ATLANTIC COAST
CHARITY TREK

Trek Morocco’s wild Atlantic Coast. A varied, undulating and challenging route discovering endless beaches and secluded coves.

  • A ‘wild’ experience along the untouched Atlantic coastline
  • All food on trek, b’fasts in hotels/Riads
  • Camping, ending in Essaouria, wonderful port
  • Explore the ‘pink walled city’ of Marrakech
  • Very experienced Guides, Full support pre-trek

We fly direct from London to Marrakech, spending a night here on arrival. In the morning, after breakfast, we drive to the start point close to the Atlantic coast (about 3 hrs). We then begin the trek northwards over undulating terrain, discovering what appears to be endless beaches and coves. The crashing waves are your constant companion. We use locations close to the beaches for camping sites, food freshly prepared by the skilled camp chef and it is delicious; no going hungry here! If you are brave enough, head into the sea for a dip!

This trekking route is not to be underestimated. It is challenging at times climbing high above the sea offering great views before descending again.

The trek finishes some 40 mins drive from the atmospheric port and UNESCO site of Essaouira. You will be treated to a celebration dinner in the evening so you may have time to wander through the spice-scented lanes, palm-lined avenues of the fortified medina or browse the many art galleries and boutiques this port has to offer. You have one final night in Marrakech and the chance the explore there too before you fly back to the UK.

No mountains!

A glorious trek along an untouched coastline. Make your way along beaches and high above them too as this 5 day trek moves north towards the beautiful port of Essaouira.
